When it helps the Dems, the governor appoints a replacement. When it helps the Dems, they hold a special election. When it helps the Dems, they rush through results of an election. When it helps the Dems, they will be painstakingly slow. They don't care what the people want. They will bend and stretch and change any rule necessary to get what they want. Democrat Coakley has conceded. Republican Brown is now the Senator-Elect from Massachusetts. Let the games begin. What are the Dems going to do to try to ram their agenda through now? I'll keep you posted here. I hope I can congratulate the Dems on playing things straight. That's just not gonna happen. |

| Dems playing it straight? That's funny. But, I am going to enjoy the ride with Scott Brown's win last night. Woohoo! |

To the credit of the Dems, preliminary indications are that they will not play games to continue to ram the health-care bill through. Good on them. At least they seem to have taken one lesson away from Senator Brown's victory. They still don't fully understand what happened. President Obama even went so far as to invoke his oft-used "Blame Bush" excuse to explain the smack-down the Dems suffered on Tuesday. Sad. On the upside, as long as the Dems remain in denial, they won't take the actions necessary to repair their relationship with the American people, and we will see more Massachusettses, Virginias, and New Jerseys! Oh, and is the timing a coincidence? Air America went toes up without warning yesterday. Maybe the folks who were pumping money into the can't-make-a-profit corporation decided that they would be throwing good money after bad? |
