A Link between Faith and Happiness?

I just watched a "Fair and Balanced Debate" on Fox News about a CDC study pointing to a possible link between faith and happiness. On one side of the issue was Father Jonathan Morris, a Catholic priest and regular Fox News contributor, and on the other side was Dan Barker, Co-President of The Freedom from Religion Foundation.

I know its anecdotal, but Father Morris smiled the whole time (as he always does), was upbeat, and hopeful. Barker, on the other hand, seemed bitter and unhappy and hardly ever smiled--except when he was making a malicious dig, such as calling faith a "delusional fairy tale" or saying to Father Morris that he shouldn't be called "Father" because he was no one's father.

Like I said, it was anecdotal, but the Barker's appearance probably convinced a few people of the truth of Father Morris' agreement with the CDC study!
