Somebody ripped my Gadsden Flag down. This kind of behavior seems to come almost exclusively from one side of the political spectrum. Not unexpectedly, that side pays lip service to free speech--only as long as it is "acceptable" free speech. The people who originally flew that flag would cringe at such thought--but defend its verbal expression. No problem, though. I will just buy and fly another Gadsden Flag. And, I hope that someone, somewhere, will add their flag to this demonstration of faith in the American Ideal solely because of that act of true intolerance in taking mine down. |
