The "church" of Scientology has gotten most sites to take down this video by threatening to sue, despite the fact that every lawyer I've heard talk on this has been saying that this is "fair use" and that Scientology doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. No matter for them, just read what Hubbard, the founder, says is the purpose of lawsuits. It ain't winning!

Anyway, this may be your last chance to see this video. Gawker is hanging in there, but who knows for how long.

The video that the Scientologists don't want you to see.

I watched this last week.
It's pretty hilarious, in a "wow, I wonder if that's how people see ME" kind of way....
The big difference I suppose between Tom and I is, well, Tom's crazy and I'm right.
But of course, he would likely say the same thing.
;-)

(all meant tongue in cheek, btw, in case some need a WYSIWYG in order to catch sarcasm)

If I'm in a car wreck, I think I'd rather you were driving by than Tom was.

I still think South Park had the best description of Scientology.

I am afraid that I don't watch South Park. However, I can imagine how Scientology would provide hearty grist for the crassly satirical cartoon. It probably would be physically painful for Cruise to watch it.

The part at the end of the clip with Tom Cruise was taken out of context, but the rest of it is exactly what appeared in the show, including the box that says "This is what Scientologists actually believe in". Those cartoonists sure don't fear lawsuits.

Speaking from experience, probably one of the reasons the Church of Scientology doesn't want that video on the internet is due to the words &/or letters from words that Tom Cruise uses. The Church doesn't like people not understanding what it says. And there is an entire language in the Church that non-Church members just don't know.

Here are the words that are not in a standard dictionary:
KSW = Keeping Scientology Working - a key policy in the Church
SP = Suppressive Person - someone that stops/hinders others (Hitler could be considered a "Suppressive Person")
PTS = Potential Trouble Source - someone that is sick or is causing upsets with others
