| I am wearing a "Never Again" shirt on May 1, 2008 to stand up against genocide. Remember Six Million is a grassroots movement devoted to honoring the memory of six million of those lost to genocide in WWII. For those of you on Facebook, there is a group you can join "Remember Six Million". Those of you not on Facebook can go to www.remembersixmillion.com. |

| It is tragic that some would forget (or, even worse, deny) that horrific chapter in human history in which six million people were murdered. |

And yet, many who cry out against such tragedies do not even blink at the fact that 40 million others are murdered globally every year. Strange world we live in. |

The Remember Six Million effort is a group striving to stop genocide. Those that don't remember, repeat. I hope you all wear "Never forget" shirts on May 1, 2008. Those who don't remember, repeat... http that://www.jta.org/cgi-bin/iowa/breaking/106202.html Sadly, Lantos' retirement is another step on the road to forgetting. Those with first hand experience of the horrors of the genocide of WWII are leaving us. But even sadder yet, we have victims of ongoing genocide who will speak of the horrors we are still committing. |
