Good Law?

Not only does this editorial clearly articulate my view on the excessive invasiveness of all of these "good" laws today, it highlights the pervasiveness of leftist indoctrination in schools--even private ones that rely on the same materials as public schools.

The left is very careful about what "diversity" they allow in their schools!

I thnk you should be able to smoke in any private car )home, business) with folks over 21 in it. I am not so sure about with kids around. I really need to spend some time thinking on this. Kids used to be 100% in the care of a parent - even if that parent beat them or made them work ridiculous hours. It makes sense to disallow that, thus restircting parents rights to decide what is right for their kid. I have to think more, but it seems like smoking in a car with them is tending towards inappropriate but a law...

Our "laws" of late have been bordering on dictatorship. I have been one of those that signed up to fight for our freedoms, but that was before our freedoms had been taken away from us. Orwell had it right, but he had the wrong year. I guess I'm just glad that all this didn't really start in 1984.

It's governmental micro-management. Micro-management is stupid in any context, but particularly so when done by government.
