Good for you, Mike. Too bad the Mets couldn't have signed you for that money or a little more. You are well worth it.

Hmmm....any way for the Mets to trade to get him back?

They do now!

Mike is definitely on the downside of his career. However he still puts up better numbers than most catchers. I am hoping against hope that this is all a ploy to get him back into a Met uniform without having to pay him the minimum of $12 million that he would've gotten had the arbitration process occurred.
