Maybe we didn't get al Zawahri; but

We seem to have gotten four other major figures. Seems these "innocent" civilians weren't so innocent after all. When terrorists go over the river and through the woods for a holiday dinner at gramma's, gramma is harboring terrorists and is subject to being placed in the cross-hairs of a precision bomb.

This is how you get these guys. You don't go in with major force. You patiently await opporunities and take them out a handful at a time, with a few of the "innocent" buddies. You don't kill a fly with a tank.

On a side note, why haven't we heard any denials from al Qaeda that al Zawahri is dead? I have to wonder if we got him, too. Anyone notice that bin Laden has been silent for a long time, also?

I expect a big noise if the bigwigs survive an attack and a big noise if we get one of the two. I don't know what to make of silence. I am surprised that we haven't either heard that the American infidels failed because it was Allah's will or heard that the American infidels have martyed the heroic <fill in the terrorist's name> and all Muslims should rise up in a jihad.

Do you think these terrorists are getting smart and shutting up? It's smart for them tactically, but goes against their strategy of firing up their wacko base.

Did I speak too soon? Anyway, we'll have to wait on verification of the identity on this latest "bin Laden" tape and the date-time of the tape. But, if the tape is real and current, why aren't we getting a tape of al Zawahri?
