Too quiet. Nothing seems to be happening on the acquisition front. We had a flurry of activity surprisingly early, and now? Nothing. *yawn*

What else would you like to acquire? I've always got 2 cents to add. (Guess that means I've got a WHOLE lot of cents!) :P

The only thing they have to do is get a competent (not necessarily great) second baseman. Kaz could stay and fill this bill, but the Mets fans have been (and will continue to be) too harsh on him. He needs to go someplace where he will be appreciated. I think he'll play better if he does. They could use some relief pitching, but we have enough starters that whoever does not make the rotation can fill the holes in the pen. Or a starter or two can be traded.

Eye, looks like you're kinda' on your own with the Mets. I don't know much at all about baseball, in general. Much less do I know anything about the Mets. I'd say that my "sport" is football, but that's only because my son plays. He fusses at me a lot because he'll mention a name of someone in the Pros or college who came from somewhere around here (that I should know), but I don't. Kind of pathetic, I know. Just don't use my limited brain cells to follow sports much.

I do, however, have to listen to NASCAR when it's on. My computer is in the den, where our "family" TV is, and my hubby is a fan. I love to listen to it, because I think it is so funny! I love to listen to the commentators.
